Richard Collins

Richard Collins is an experienced scientist with numerous awards and recognition for his work in the lighting industry as an electrical engineer. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BA in Education and a minor in Physics. He also completed numerous engineering courses from Northeastern University. With a personal math SAT score of 705, Richard has spent the last two years teaching honor students that in the real world they need to get the science and math right. Mr. Collins says, “With a sense of gratitude I draw on my many years of doing science and mathematics to enrich young minds. I am confident that with experience solving real world problems, I bring a valuable gift to my tutoring clientele.” Richard also enjoys the added distinction of having been a beloved Sunday School teacher over the decades. Dozens of students consider him their all-time favorite. He is now ready to welcome students seeking help in physics, other sciences, and math.
